From the Platteville Police Department:
On September 3, 2012 the Platteville Police Department took a report of a sexual assault in which a young woman was walking home at night from a gathering and was sexually assaulted.
The victim was unable to provide a description of the suspect.
The Platteville Police Department is currently investigating this incident and wants our community, especially our female population to take the appropriate safety precautions when walking outside at night.
