MARSHFIELD, Wis. (AP) -- Marshfield police say officers have made an arrest in the case of a pregnant woman who was doused with gas, punched and threatened.
Authorities say the 23-year-old suspect threatened to light the woman on fire, punched her in the stomach and tried to strangle her during a three-hour domestic ordeal on Sept. 29.
The woman tried to escape, but was unable to leave.
Police say the man had heroin on him when he was arrested.
