The Great Taste of the Midwest isn't until Saturday but there are a lot of fun things happening around town Friday night; like at the Malt House, they're offering beer specials and a chance to win tickets to Saturday's event! Great Taste of the Midwest is sold out, organizers say all 6,000 tickets were sold in just one hour, but there are other options available to learn more about the craft beer industry.
Hop Head Beer Tours offers brewery bus and bike tours, making stops at area breweries for tastings and tours. An option to learn more about the craft beer industry right here in Wisconsin. Hop Head Beer Tours is offering a free shuttle Friday night for people to try out breweries on the east side.
"Just hop on our bus, it's free, the breweries are sponsoring; it makes it easier for people to try all of these different breweries, five of them from 7pm-midnight," said Filipe Moreira with Hop Head Beer Tours.
Giving people an opportunity to learn more about the booming industry of craft beer. Moreira added, "this is about the education of craft beer, when people come to our tours, they're going to be respectful and courteous and they're going to learn something about craft beer and the history of the breweries they'll be visiting."
