Cashton Man Arrested for OWI 6th and Drugs
(REEDSBURG, WI) A Cashton man was arrested for his 6th OWI and drug possession after he was stopped for a traffic violation on Tuesday at 10:00pm.
Officer William Botten stopped a vehicle in the 1600 block of E. Main Street after he observed the vehicle weaving across the center line. The driver, William J. Greendeer (57) of Cashton, WI was arrested for OWI. A check of Greendeer’s record revealed 5 prior convictions for OWI. Officer Botten also located marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Greendeer was transported to the Sauk County Jail and held under the following charges: Operating While Intoxicated – 6th Offense, Resisting an Officer, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
