Incident Date 08/10/2012 - 3:55 PM
Address 5800 block Raymond Rd.
MPD is on the scene of shots fired. Initial investigation indicates 7-8 juvenile males were walking on one side of street and began yelling at 3 males on the other side of the street when shots rang out. No persons were injured, however a passing auto was struck, as well as a parked truck. Shell casings were recovered at the scene. Police contacted and identified several males at the scene, however no arrests have been made at this time.

Information from NBC15's Rachelle Baillon on the scene:
Dane County Dispatch says police responded to a report of gunshots around 4p.m. Friday on Raymond Rd. in Madison. The incident happened near Leland Rd.
A witness says he was driving when he saw a group of people. He then heard what he thought was fireworks.
He pulled over and called 911. He then noticed there was a bullet in his vehicle.
There were no injuries.
Police are still investigating the incident.
