COLFAX, Wis. (AP) -- Authorities in western Wisconsin say a horse rider has been seriously injured after he fell from his mount and the horse fell on him.
The Dunn County sheriff's office says the 50-year-old was riding Saturday afternoon in the Town of Tainter. Witnesses say he tumbled from the horse, and the animal fell on top of him, causing serious head and leg injuries.
He was airlifted to a hospital. His condition was not immediately available.
