VIDEO: Two Teens From Belleville Found In California

UPDATED Friday, October 19, 2012 --- 9:30 a.m.

From the Belleville Police Department:

Josey Scoville and Larissa Aunet, the 17 year olds from Belleville WI who went missing on October 2nd have been found and are safe.

They were located by law enforcement in Sacramento CA.

The Belleville Police Department is working with that agency and the parents to facilitate their return.

The Belleville Police Department wants to thank everyone who has assisted in any way to help in the course of this investigation.

The parents have requested that media not contact them for statements at this time and our agency will not be releasing any further information until Monday.

We spoke with the mothers of the two girls tonight.

They provided information on the vehicle the girls took. It is a 2-door, silver 1998 Saab with Wisconsin license plates 911-TYG.

From the Belleville Police Department:

The public’s help is needed in locating two 17 year old females who have been reported missing from the village of Belleville.

Larissa Aunet, a white female, 5’4”, 120, blonde hair, blue eyes and Josey Scoville, a white female, 5’8”, 125, brown hair, green eyes were last seen at about 8:00 pm on October 2.

Information on both juveniles was entered nationwide and the Belleville Police Department was notified that they had stopped and released by Stockton Illinois Police just prior to the entry. (NOTE: NBC15 News has learned they were stopped for speeding)

Aunet was operating a gray/silver 1998 SAAB 900 S Turbo 2 door hatchback with WI registration of 911TYG.

The Belleville Police Department continues to follow-up on information it has received. All indications show that they left on their own and no foul play is suspected.
