Tonight was the last night of the season for the curlers at the Cambridge Curling Club.
The unique aspect is...they curl outdoor.
"It's our first start without the lights on so far this year," said Kurt Chapman, one of the curlers.
Chapman said a group of 7-10 of them curl every Friday night. They use it socialize; to have fun and to cook food.
"We started our club in 2010," Chapman said. The club is located on one of his friends' property.
"Socially our group has grown a lot, and it's really been fun to teach people who have never curled before," he added.
Chapman also said there is a lot of preparation involved, such as working the ice or clearing snow during the week -- even when it's not being used.
"We have to do a lot of things creatively in order to make the ice 'curlable'," Chapman added.
Their season runs January through the beginning of March.
