POSTED: Monday, September 24, 2012 --- 1:20 p.m.

From Madison Police:

Multiple Madison Police officers responded to Wando’s bar, 602 University Ave., early Sunday morning after a group of patrons began fighting with staff members. Trouble began when one suspect fell off a bar stool and was asked to leave. During the melee a recycle bin filled with bottles was heaved down a flight of stairs at bouncers. One said he saw stars after being hit. A female suspect also used a broom stick to hit the same victim in the head multiple times. Later, he (the same victim) struggled to hold a male suspect (Michael Simmons listed above) down as police were called. During this part of the fight, the bouncer said the suspect (Simmons) punched him four or five times in the face, while threatening to come back later and shoot him. The suspect (Simmons) later told police he was out celebrating the birth of his daughter.

Antwan D. Windom, age 28, Madison

Celebrating the birth of his daughter. Of course. Any and all excuses to drink to this level. I feel badly for what awaits this pinheads daughter.

Sounds like a nice bunch. Next time you celebrate the birth of your child, try doing it in the hospital, with YOUR CHILD! And perhaps your baby mama....
