Stranger Grabs Woman in Downtown Madison

Address: 400 block W. Gorham St.

Suspect(s):Male, black, 6'5", slender build, 20-30 years old, facial stubble, wearing a blue stocking cap, dark pants, and a puffy winter coat with no collar or hood.

Victim: Female, age 21, Madison

Details: A stranger grabbed a 21-year old downtown resident by the arm and tried to get the woman to come with him early Saturday night. The victim was able to rip her arm from the man's grasp and get away. She feared he was going to try to assault her.

The woman was wearing headphones, listening to music, and was about to enter a building in the 400 block of W. Gorham St. when the contact was made.
