Update from the Janesville Police Department:
On October 29, 2012 at 10:30 am Nathanial Robert Johnson (DOB 03-07-1979) was taken into custody for the robbery that occurred at Stop n Go, located at 1604 E. Racine St. The case was solved after several tips came in indicating it was Johnson who committed the robbery.
Johnson was interviewed at the Janesville Police Department by Detective Erik Goth where he confessed to the crime. He was held at the Rock County Jail.
Johnson was charged with the Following:
Robbery ss. 943.32(1)
Parole Violation ss. 973.10

Information from the Janeville Police Department:
On Sunday night at 7:53 pm Janesville Police Officer’s responded to 1604 E Racine St (Stop-n-Go Gas) for a report of a strong armed robbery. No weapon was displayed, but suggested. The suspect left on foot prior to officer arrival with an undisclosed amount of US currency.
The suspect was described as being a shorter male, white, around 5’4” tall, wearing a tan colored hoody, shaved head, and tattoos of tear drops on his face.
