Address: 5511 Odana Rd. (New Concepts Salon parking lot)
Victim: Male, age 58, Sun Prairie
Details: A Sun Prairie man died this morning following a freak accident on Odana Rd. A witness said the 58-year old man was jogging alongside his own van as it rolled into a parking lot. It's not clear how he got outside the running vehicle, but as he tried regaining control, he became entangled between the van's frame and the pavement. The van came to a stop on top of the driver. He was conversant with first responders, but stopped breathing shortly after Madison Fire rescue personnel were able to lift the van off of him. He was transported to a hospital where, but life-saving measures were not successful. An autopsy will be held to determine the cause of death.
