The future of the Sun Prairie Youth Hockey Association remains unknown after the association plans to break ground in two weeks, have been pushed back due to funding shortage.
Jason Ledford, whose children play hockey is worried that in a couple of weeks there won't be a place for his children to play.
“ We are in a state of an emergency as far as getting these funds and getting a shovel in the ground ,”said Jason Ledford
The Prairie Athletic Club (PAC) is proceeding with plans to expand their facilities. Which means the association would have to find another place to play hockey.
“We need our community to help us otherwise we will have a whole bunch of five ,six, seven and eight year old kids who don't have a home to play hockey anymore,”said Ledford.
