A local effort to make one girl's dream come true is spreading all over the world! 19-year-old Aly Wolff from McFarland wants to meet Justin Bieber.

So her friends, family, and thousands of strangers are coming together to make it happen.

Pop superstar Justin Bieber is a wanted man.

“Look how many people are tweeting!”

And through the power of social media, Aly Wolff is hoping to get what she wants.

“This is our Facebook page dedicated to our campaign “Biebs Meet Aly”

Her friend Ariel Arneson started the movement “Biebs Meet Aly” less than a week ago.

“I remember when I first saw it, there were 60 people who liked it and I thought that was cool, I thought that was a lot!” laughs Aly.

Now, their Facebook page has more than 11,000 “likes”. From Bucky Badger to Santa Claus, support is pouring in from all over the world.

“To have someone, actually 11,000 people really lift you up and your spirits is really amazing,” says Aly.

“I mean I know this had made her days go by easier,” says Ariel.

This all started back in May. That's when Aly found out she was sick.

“About halfway through my freshman year at UW-Oshkosh, I noticed I was getting stomachaches a lot,”

Doctors found a tumor on her liver and the cancer started to spread.

“It's been pretty hard just because you never feel 100 percent, ever,” says Aly.

“It was just so sad and I knew I had to do something,” adds Ariel.

To cheer up her friend, Ariel took action. She went on a social media blitz encouraging everyone and anyone to send their support, all in the hopes that Biebs would take notice.

“Social media is how Justin Bieber got famous,”

These friends are confident that Justin will come through and more importantly that Aly will get better.

“Even if things don't work out with Justin, I have a lot to be thankful for and be happy about,” says Aly. .

That's why they call them “Bieleibers”

“I wish I could put it into words but it's been really great and I literally have the best friends and family and community I could ever ask for,”

Here's what we need you to do! go on Facebook and twitter and use the hashtag #BiebsMeetAly! Take pictures, send videos, do whatever you can to help spread the word!

The girls are going to Bieber's concert on Saturday in Chicago and hope to meet with him then.
