Release from Rock County Sheriff's Department:

Detectives from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation into a subject downloading Child Pornography files over the internet. Through the course of the investigation, the suspect was identified as Anthony J Sibley who resided at 1520 Oak St. in the City of Beloit.

On October 23, 2012, members of the Rock County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau and Special Investigations Unit (SIU) executed a search warrant at Anthony Sibley’s address. Several items were seized that were believed to have been used to store or facilitate the downloading/sharing of Child Pornography files over the internet. A brief forensic search of these items showed evidence of Child Pornography files.

On October 31, 2012, Anthony Sibley was arrested on fourteen (14) counts of Possession of Child Pornography. Anthony Sibley is scheduled for his initial court appearance on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 4:00 PM.

This is an ongoing investigation as several items still need to be processed by the Wisconsin State Crime Lab.
