Gregorio F. Munoz, age 50, Madison
Mr. Munoz was arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence - 5th offense and Disorderly Conduct.
Bouncers at Murphy's Tavern, 3737 E. Washington Ave., stopped an intoxicated driver from pulling out of the bar's parking lot early Sunday morning after the suspect drove his pickup truck into two parked cars.
The driver refused to turn off his truck, and inched forward as one bar employee stood in front of him. A second reached into the truck and removed the keys from the ignition. A 3rd employee was scratched in the face as the suspect got out, tried to start a fight, and threatened the consciousness employees with bodily harm. The third bouncer responded by taking the suspect to the ground as police responded.
The driver was arrested for his 5th offense of drunken driving.
