Three Hospitalized After Dodge County Crash

Information from Dodge County Sheriff:

Three people were hospitalized and Medflight was called to a two-vehicle crash Monday in Dodge County.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. Monday night in the Town of Trenton.

Investigation shows a 2000 Toyota Camry driven by Thomas Zuelsdorf was northbound on US 151 and proceeded to turn left or east onto CTH C. A 2008 Chevy Malibu was southbound on U.S. 151 driven by James Cousineau when Zuelsdorf pulled out in front of him. The Malibu struck the Camry in the passenger's side door. Zuelsdorf had two occupants in the car that sustained injuries from the crash. They were transported by ambulance to the Beaver Dam Community Hospital and later Med Flighted to UW Madison.

Cousineau sustainted non life threatening injuries and was transported to Beaver Dam Community Hospital. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.

    I am sure there was alcohol involved and if there was they should be put in jail. It is time to get the drunks off the roads. Raise the beer tax at least 2 dollars a bottle and can. The beer tax hasn't been raised since 1969, 43 years. That revenue could be used for more OWI enforcement.
