MILWAUKEE (AP) -- First lady Michelle Obama is traveling to suburban Milwaukee today to meet with relatives of people who were killed and injured during the shooting at a Sikh temple. Sikh leaders say they're grateful for this afternoon's visit and say they've taken comfort in the knowledge that the shooting has at least helped them educate the world about their religion.
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents say they've arrested 28 people in northeastern Wisconsin. Twenty-six of the 28 people who were arrested had previous criminal convictions and four had been previously deported.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin Lottery sales reached a record $547 million in the most recent fiscal year. That's a 9 percent increase over the year before. Lottery officials say the sales generated an estimated $150 million in property-tax relief.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin's other sturgeon season is about to begin. The hook-and-line season kicks off September 1st and runs through the end of the month on several major rivers and lakes.
