MANITOWOC, Wis. (AP) -- Eleven people from three eastern Wisconsin counties are facing charges for drug trafficking and firearms offenses. Authorities say they made the arrests after seizing about 70 pounds of high-grade marijuana from a car.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- The Legislature's joint rules committee is meeting today and is expected to extend temporary regulations enacting Wisconsin's concealed carry law. The rules provide a framework for the agency as it administers the concealed carry law, authorizing the agency to revoke permits and require proof of training.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- The state Department of Transportation is reminding people not to place campaign signs in the right of way along public roads. The state DOT says improperly places signs that create potential safety hazards will be removed.
DODGEVILLE, Wis. (AP) -- Lands' End is laying off nearly 200 workers from its Dodgeville call center because fewer customers are placing their orders over the phone. The clothing and home-goods retailer says customers are increasingly ordering online, leading to the 29 percent cut in call center workers.
