A staple in the Wisconsin Dells celebrates a milestone. Tommy Bartlett Ski Show alumni return this weekend for the show's 60th anniversary.
For six decades people have been gathering on the shores of Lake Delton to see breathtaking maneuvers on the water.
This weekend nearly 100 alumni skiers hit the water to mark this special anniversary.
Most, like Glenn Sperry, are now over 70-years-old. They've come back to do what they loved to do so many years ago.
Each is talented in their own way. Sperry takes his act to the air, on stilts. He's even set a record skiing on stilts over 7 feet tall. He says, "from there I actually got a pair that are 10'5", but I ride those on a rare occasion."
Their love for the show isn't the only thing keeping them going, it's the bond they still share with their former teammates. They say it's more like a family.
The Tommy Bartlett show runs daily through Labor Day weekend.
