Train hits car in Sun Prairie

UPDATED Saturday, July 26, 2014 -- 7:15 p.m.

Deputies on scene confirm two people were in the vehicle at the time it was struck by the Wisconsin Southern train.

The train is believed to have been traveling no faster than 10 miles per hour.

There were no injuries.

Dane County dispatch say that a train hit a car in Sun Prairie.

It happened at the intersection of Strohmenger and Twin Lane roads. The train was going between 8 to 10 miles per hour when it hit the car. Two people were on the scene and were not injured.
