Nasco is a wonderful company. I agree with citizen,no place of employment is perfect. All in all, Nasco is one of the good ones. I also thought George's comment was funny. You have to keep your sense of humor. The real issue is the aging status of our electrical system in America. We need new and better systems. Many of these transformers are well beyond their intended use in age.

My son has been fortunate enough to be hired by Nasco as summer help. As long as you do a good job, work hard & have a good attitude they ASK you back. This is helping him pay his way through college, too. They are an asset to this community, and value their employees. NO PLACE of employment is perfect, and every person has some complaint about where they work. We don't live in a perfect world Chipper.

Well Chipper, I guess you got it figured out. One of the top companies in the field, and they need the insurance money? You should get your information from a more reliable source. I've been out here since 1994, and KNOW better. I don't think you know people who work there, otherwise you wouldn't have posted the way you did. Grow up.

I get a lot of information from the stockholders meets between Aristole and NASCO. You dont care that they dont pay any Fed tax because every five years they merge with aristotle, now it is NASCO again until the time is up and they have to pay taxes. Then aristotle people will merge again with the company and they are all off the hook for 5 years. Wish I could do that. This is all on line so you can find out exactly what they do. Aristotle is publicly owned. Look it up for yourself. It's a free country.

Now Chipper, really? Nasco is a very reputable company and serves all 50 states with offices in Fort Atkinson, Minnesota nd California AND it serves about 100 countries. If they were not reputable, they wouldn't have the success they have had for the MANY years they have been in business. They abide by all rules and regulations established by OSHA and I am sure they, like all maunfacturing companies, are inspected regularily. Sounds to me like your friend is disgruntled employee, and you are basing your comments on the feelings your froend has towards his/her employer. BTW...were you unaware that there were storms last night that more than likley caused the transformer to explode? It just so happens, unfortunately, that Nasco's electrical system is connected to that transformer. Couple questions...WHY on earth would they need insurance money and how could they possibly cause that transformer to explode? Highly unlikely Nasco had any part in the fire.
