LUDINGTON, Mich. (AP) -- A ferry that runs between Michigan and Wisconsin is canceling service today because of high winds and waves on Lake Michigan. The S.S. Badger's last run of the season is scheduled to take place on Friday.
VILLAGE OF PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. (AP) -- Officials in the southeastern Wisconsin village of Pleasant Prairie are urging some residents to evacuate because of potential flooding caused by the remnants of Hurricane Sandy. Occupants of about 265 homes near Lake Michigan are being urged to evacuate and city officials spent the night sandbagging flood-prone areas because waves could reach 18 feet.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- An Argyle man who's accused of killing his three young sons and trying to kill his wife and daughter is set to appear in court next month. Armin Wand the Third has a preliminary hearing on November 13th.
MILWAUKEE (AP) -- National news anchor Tom Brokaw will deliver a speech in Milwaukee next month. The NBC News journalist and bestselling author will give the keynote speech at a health care meeting on November 12th.
