Two people accused of having meth-making supplies near daycare center

GRANT COUNTY, Wis. --- Two people have been arrested in Village of Monfort after officers find meth-making supplies in a parked car, according to a news release by the Grant County Sheriff's Office.

Cade Kirkpatrick, age 24 of Monfort, and Danielle Abbott, age 30 of Linden are charged with Possession of materials for the manufacturing of meth. Two other people in the car were not charged.

Investigators say the car was parked on East Main St. in Monfort near a daycare. Kirkpatrick is accused of hiding an object near a military tank by the local VFW.

The Sheriff says the items found are used to make meth and are often left behind as litter which can create a hazard of people.

Kirkpatrick and Abbott were arrested Tuesday.
