Wednesday, 29-year old, Hector Guerra is being called a hero. It comes one day after a fire broke out inside his Middleton apartment complex.
The fire started on the 2000 block of Allen Boulevard Tuesday night. The blaze began in the kitchen of a neighboring apartment.
Guerra, was next door when he was awaken by his mother. She ran out of the complex, while Guerra grabbed a fire extinguisher and put out the flames. All of it happening before fire crews arrived.
Luckily, no one was injured mostly because of Guerra’s quick actions. Currently, the complex remains closed due to fire damage. Guerra hopes he can move back in later this weekend.
