MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Democratic voters are having a hard time differentiating the three candidates for attorney general.
Several voters interviewed after leaving polling stations Tuesday said they skipped that race because they didn't know enough about the candidates to make an informed choice.
The candidates are state Rep. Jon Richards, of Milwaukee, Jefferson County District Attorney Susan Happ and Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne.
Mark Schaitel of Madison says he voted for Happ because he likes her emphasis on rehabilitating drug offenders and he wants to see more women in politics.
Tom Michalski of Oak Creek says he voted for Richards because of his track record in the Assembly.
And Gilbert Walker of Madison says Ozanne got his vote based on what he knows about him, but no issues stuck out.
