WMTV NBC15 is now broadcasting local newscasts in high definition.

This move includes new state-of-the-art weather equipment. "NBC15 is committed to being the leader in weather coverage for southern Wisconsin. Now with our top-of-the-line weather systems, we will only enhance our position as The Weather Authority," said Chris Gegg, NBC15 News Director.

In addition to local newscasts, the popular television shows "Jeopardy!" and "Wheel of Fortune" are also being shown in high definition.

NBC15 News in high definition is available to viewers in several different ways. Viewers with an HDTV set and an antenna can view the newscasts over the air on digital channel 15.1. Cable viewers can see NBC15 News in HD on Charter Digital Cable Channel 615. The station's HD newscasts are also available to HD subscribers of DirecTV and DISH Network.
