Walker Says He May Not Endorse in Supreme Court

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Republican Gov. Scott Walker is praising the work of Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Patience Roggensack, but stopping short of saying whether he will endorse her as she seeks re-election.

Walker said in an interview Wednesday with The Associated Press that it may not make sense to endorse anyone in the officially nonpartisan race for Supreme Court because they won't carry much weight with voters.

Roggensack frequently sides with the four-justice conservative majority on the court. Walker says she has a clear record of upholding the law and not making the law through court rulings.

Roggensack is being challenged by Milwaukee lemon law attorney Vince Megna and Marquette University law professor Ed Fallone.

The primary is Feb. 19 and the general election is April 2.

If she is one of the justices that allowed Prosser to go free she should be removed from the bench. Upholding the law is prosecuting those who violate it including choking another employee at work. Any other state employee would have been severely disciplined for this or more likely terminated. You see thats the problem with the law. It is supposed to apply to everyone but some how those in Madison are now becoming like those in Washington.
