BALSAM LAKE, Wis. (AP) -- A Balsam Lake man is charged with homicide in Polk County following the death of his son. Kenneth Larson was convicted of injuring the one-month-old in 2008. The boy died last year from complications from his brain injury.
GENESEE DEPOT, Wis. (AP) -- The Ten Chimneys Foundation has a new president. Preservationist and architectural historian Randy Bryant is taking over the post immediately. He was once a Motorola executive.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Old World Wisconsin is bringing its Halloween Dinner Theater series to life next month with "Frankenstein." The state historical museum outside Eagle will offer a themed dinner in its Clausing Barn loft and a lantern-lit walk to the play in the museum's pioneer-era village.
