Here is the latest Wisconsin news from The Associated Press

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Vice President Joe Biden is taking the Obama campaign to a university campus in Wisconsin. Biden will appear at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse on Friday. President Obama campaigned at the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus last week.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A Minnesota man is accused of breaking into the Wisconsin Capitol. A criminal complaint says 21-year-old Andrew Bishop scaled the outside of the Capitol on Sunday and smashed a fifth-floor window to get into the building. It says police found the intoxicated Roseville, Minn., man passed out on a dome outside one of the windows.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin is urging residents to start prepping the paperwork involved with sending a state Christmas tree overseas. Officials say there are a number of steps before a real Wisconsin tree can be sent, including obtaining copies of a plant health certificate and completing other state certificate requirements. Officials will reduce the normal $50 fee to $6 for trees being mailed to active duty military family members overseas.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources officials are warning people that the agency's website will shut down briefly for a hardware upgrade. DNR web managers say the site will go down at 4 p.m. on Saturday for about five minutes.
