EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (AP) -- Former President Bill Clinton is set to appear in Eau Claire today to stump for President Barack Obama. Meanwhile, Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan is expected to appear at events today in Eau Claire, Green Bay and Racine.

WAUSAU, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin Public Service Corporation restored power to the 11,000 customers who lost service last night. The utility says the customers in the Wausau area lost electricity because of a substation failure.

WAUSAU, Wis. (AP) -- Marathon County officials say a pedestrian was hit last night by a police squad car. The person was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries after the crash near a motel.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin Natural Resources officials are launching a new online map that details 1.1 million acres of private land that's open for public hunting, fishing and other recreational activities. Landowners who enroll in the DNR's managed forest program get breaks on their property taxes.
