MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Two of the three men who are accused of attacking Wisconsin running back Montee Ball are scheduled to appear in court today. Twenty-one-year-old Wendell Venerable and 22-year-old Robert Wilks are charged with a single count of battery after authorities say they attacked Ball as he was walking behind two friends.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A new report says Wisconsin's property taxes are increasing an average of less than one percent. The Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance report says net property taxes across the state are climbing seven-tenths of a percent, up from two-tenths of a percent last year.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- State wildlife officials say gun hunters have one last chance to kill deer this season in the chronic wasting disease management zone in the south-central part of Wisconsin. The so-called Holiday Hunt begins December 24th and runs through January 6th.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art will be displaying items from its permanent collection with nine Dane County schools. A different exhibition will travel from school to school and be displayed for one month through 2015.
