A 100-year-old Madison woman gets her wish granted. We were there when she met the youngest generation of her family for the first time.
At 100-years-old, Eleanor Skinner has seen a lot, but one important thing was still missing, the youngest members of her family. She had never met her great grandchildren, they're triplets.
The senior center where she lives sent in an application for the "Wish of a Lifetime" program. Her wish was granted. They came up with a plan to get the toddlers from Savannah, Georgia to Madison, Wisconsin. It took the family three days to drive to Madison.
Eleanor couldn't wait to meet her great grandchildren. "I never thought I would ever deserve anything so wonderful, I am blessed" says, Skinner.
A photographer was on hand Saturday to take a picture of the family. Now Eleanor has something to help her remember this special day.
