Woman Flown To Hospital After Green County Crash

At 5:04 a.m. Green County deputies, Monroe EMS and Monroe Fire responded to a single vehicle rollover crash in the W6900 Block of STH 81 in the Town of Monroe.
The driver and sole occupant, Michelle M. Anderson, age 27 of Albany, WI was eastbound on STH 81, west of Dolan Ln, when she failed to negotiate a curve. Anderson's vehicle went airborne over a culvert and rolled several times before coming to rest on its wheels in the north ditch. Michelle was wearing her seatbelt and was trapped inside the vehicle.
After extraction, Anderson was transported to the UW Hospital Emergency Room by Med Flight for injuries sustained in the crash. Michelle's vehicle sustained very severe damage to all areas and was towed from the scene. The vehicle's airbags deployed. Michelle was cited Inattentive Driving and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Anderson was released pending court.
