Wrong-Way Driver Charged With 4th OWI

Information from Janesville Police Department:

On 02-09-2013 at 2:09 a.m. Officer Chad Woodman observed an Oldsmobile Alero travelling the wrong direction on a one way street at E. Milwaukee Street and Parker Place. Officer Woodman initiated a stop on the vehicle and during his contact with the driver noticed a strong odor of intoxicants on his breath. The operator was identified as David A. Haefner, age 29 of Milton.

Haefner failed field sobriety testing and was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated fourth offense and for possession of THC. Haefner was transported to the Rock County Jail for an evidentiary blood alcohol test. Results of the test are unknown at this time. Haefner was held at the Rock County Jail. He's charged with his 4th offense OWI and Possession of THC.
