EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (AP) -- A deer wound up in an unlikely place over the weekend in Eau Claire.
A small buck charged through a window at the Clarion Hotel and Green Mill, not far from Interstate 94. General manager Eric Hoium went to investigate and found shattered glass and the frightened deer running around inside a meeting room Saturday evening. Animal control was called and the deer left the same way he came in.
The buck bolted and broke through another window at a home across the street, then ran toward some nearby woods.
