MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A decorated Iraq War veteran is set to appear in court today after he was accused of killing his wife, a suburban Milwaukee police officer. Thirty-year-old Benjamin Sebena is charged with first-degree intentional homicide after prosecutors say he ambushed 30-year-old Jennifer Sebena while she conducted a solo patrol on Christmas Eve.

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The new leader of the Wisconsin Assembly says Republicans will push to reduce the state income tax during the 2013 legislative session. Speaker Robin Vos says the GOP favors cutting taxes for individuals and families earning between $20,000 and $200,000 a year. The session begins Monday.

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Mortgage foreclosure filings decreased about 2 percent in southeastern Wisconsin in 2012. For the year, there were nearly 10,500 filings in the region. Foreclosures in the seven-county area fell by more than a third in December.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- The chief brewmaster at MillerCoors will discuss the science of beer making later this month at the Wisconsin Historical Museum. David Ryder will talk about the history of brewing and the industry's future during the January 26th event in Madison.
