The Madison area is growing and with that there are more gyms popping up for the active Madisonians or those who hope to get into a fitness routine.

In this week's Hot Trends, Christine Bellport takes us to a new place that is anything but routine.

It may be unique to Madison, but it is a growing trend.

Making your workout more pleasurable and tailor made to the business person on a schedule.

Siren Fitness is a women's only facility on South Gammon Road.

It caters to women, from the waterfall in the entryway to the hip, modern look that feels more like a home and less like a gym.

Co-owner of Siren Fitness Faith Dey says, "It is a day spa inspired women's fitness boutique or privately."

The women range in age from 15 to 75.

A big trend in '08 according to Web MD is fusion classes and fusion training such as yoga and pilates or a strength and conditioning workout. Something that is offered here. There is also a 45 minute lunchtime workout for business women.

But there's one thing you won't find here ... men.

It doesn't feel like a gym...and with smaller classes it almost feels like you have a personal trainer

They do offer that and other spa services.

They are hoping the Madison area continues to embrace the trend of making your workout less structured or typical and more pleasurable. With the same results of course!
