In this market, more people are choosing to stay where they are instead of selling their homes.

In this week's Hot Trends Christine Bellport shows us how to make your kitchen look stylish by being creative and hiding your major appliances.

The kitchen has always been a place where people gather -- either for breakfast with the family, or during a party where everyone seems to hang out.

Designers have finally caught on that kitchens should look as stunning -- if not more impressive than the rest of your house.

Whether your kitchen is a very modern, contemporary kitchen or a kitchen that shows warmth with wood cabinets and tile work -- it should always be a place that looks inviting and spacious.

That is the specialty of Bella Domicile on Nesbitt Road in Fitchburg.

Kitchens need those big appliances, but they say you don't need to see them.

These are also used a towel warmers in the bathroom.

Not only are refrigerators and freezers getting a makeover, your wine rack is getting the royal treatment as well.

Garret Dynes of Bella Domicile says, "What's really nice about when you really put money into an investment for some of these wines you can separate the temps -- white on the bottom with cooler temperature."

Another benefit? Putting money into your kitchen or bathroom also greatly increases the value of your home when you go to sell it.
