Dairy farms and creameries are not new to Wisconsin, but a creamery in Columbus is really taking off and doing it with flare. In this week's Hot Trends, we take you to Sassy Cow Creamery.

In the middle of farm country in Columbus off Bristol Road is a store that invites you to experience Sassy Cow Creamery.

"The store allows us to have the interaction with our customers. "

Contact with their customers is why they enjoy having this store.

They invite you to see their bottling process done right there.

And the name, Sassy Cow is also unique as it reflects the animals that drive this family owned farm and creamery.

"When you drive by a heard of cows and you see them out there doing grazing or doing whatever they do you might not know that they do have a little different personalities amongst them. Some are sassy and some are a little grumpier."

You can meet some of the heard right on their cartons like Rudy and Taffy. Each tag has a picture and a cleaver saying about the character of that cow.

Sassy Cow not only produces regular and organic milk, but they make butter and ice cream as well. Twelve flavors including chocolate and butter pecan.

All products are produced right there on their dairy farms located a stone's throw from the shop.

Sassy Cow will also make a splash at this year's Brat Fest.

" Wisconsin being the dairy state, obviously a huge event like Brat Fest we wanted to have dairy and dairy farmers represented there. "

On this mornings news, did you say Sassy Cow was open this weekend for tours of their farm? And if so, what hours? I have a 2.5 yr old little boy who loves "moo cows" and would love to see the "moo cow house" Please advise, thank you. Jennifer
