Baraboo Man Charged With 7th Offense OWI

From the Sauk County Sheriff's Department:

On April 15, 2012 at 6:28pm in the Town of Delton, STEVE B. FUNMAKER, age 61 of Baraboo was arrested for a 7th offense operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

Sauk County Deputies were investigating a disturbance call at the Vagabond Motel just outside of Lake Delton, when Funmaker was observed driving into the motel lot where the disturbance had occurred.

Funmaker was originally part of the initial disturbance at the motel which the Deputies were investigating.

Funmaker was taken into custody and transported to St Clare Hospital in Baraboo for medical clearance prior to being incarcerated at the Sauk County Jail for the felony operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated for a 7th offense charge.

Funmaker is currently being held without bond.
