I am so glad that little Blake was found and now home with his owner. I am a dog owner of 2 labs and would be heart broke if this happened to me as they are part of your family and it is a true loss when something happens like this. Glad you are home safe and sound Blake!

I'm happy he found the dog, But a friend of mine saw the from Public Enemy with the dog days ago and asked him about it. He said is was his girlfriends, and new nothing about the dog, He asked how old it was, what bread, guy knew nothing. He then took pics and sent them to the owner. Now that there was a reward, he returned it. I don't think the guy from P.E. was being truthful at all, just looking for money.. If a reward wasn't offered, he would have kept the dog IMO.

Exactly. I bet the same people would blame the owner if the pet was left at home, and the house was broken into and the pet taken from there.

So you would rather have the owner leave the pet alone, locked up at home?!?? Obviously there are very few stores/businesses that will allow you to bring a pet inside. What else are they supposed to do?

Amen! Focus on the weirdo that took the dog and not the guy who left his dog in the LOCKED car with the windows down 3 inches for ventilation.

Your comment is about as bad as the person who stole the dog. Who cares if he is liberal or conservative? That shouldn't even be an issue with this.

So glad to hear that this story ended well! Hoping that the person who gets the reward will consider donating to an animal rescue!

When our puppy was 3 mo old she was taken from our truck. She was found 1 hr later at the person's house that took her. Both people involved got a 300.00 fine. We now never leave her alone in the truck. Never!! I agree that a pet is like a child...would you leave them alone in a vehicle because they like it? You have to be in charge and determine what is best for them. Dogs might like to stand in the road and wait for the next vehicle to chase ..do you allow that to because they like it? This world is changing please be a responsible pet owner and use common sense not what the dog likes.

wooooooohooooo great news! move forward the dog has been found and safe. To the owner, PLEASE, do not leave your dog/puppy in your car. Animals should not be left in your car. Good job Erin, you deserve this reward!

Exactly the point I was trying to make......it was the DMV. Not like a quick run to the gas station.

Why do people alway get excited about a dog left in the car when the owner runs errands? At least that dog owner cares enough to take the dog with them. My dogs go everywhere with me because they love it! When I am getting ready to leave they are at the door waiting to go. I'd rather see a sog in the car than tied to a tree or a dog house never to explore more than the 10 foot chain allows them all their life. Geez people!!!

Why Blame the owner ? It is the fool who stole him you should blame !!! I take my dog every where with me. She was a rescue dog and she was left for Hours in a crate every day and then beat for peeing on the floor when she was left out !!! Now she has freedom and is loved !! and she is with me every where I GO !!! I hope the owner find's his dog and the person who has taken the dog is prosecuted to the Max....
