WI BADGER- Just when I thought you could not say anything more stupid, here we go. You assume things about the kid and her parents without any facts whatsoever. You are a sad human being...

First congradulation for your accomplisment. Second, please take time NOW, to be a kid! Life goes by to fast. If your parents are the driving force, you need to NOT listen to them so much. There is alot to be said for learning some street smarts, and making some mistakes.

The parents have made huge mistake. Your childhood years are defined by your school years. This child has the makings of being a nut-job. Apparently, the parents have forgotten that children need to mature socially, too. Just having a high IQ doesn't make a person "smart." Let me put it this way: would you hire this girl/child for a college entry job vs a 20-something year old? I'll bet you dollars to donuts the parents are academic lefties who never worked in the private sector.

Incredible, but whenever I see stories like this I worry about the person in question. Forget missing out on the high school experience and things like prom, what about the college experience? Does she have friends? Has she gone on dates with anyone? Has she really "discovered" herself, or what she really wants (since I'm assuming her parents are the driving force behind this accelerated track given that she was home schooled)? It strikes me as too much, too soon.
