Families are in desperate need these days when it comes to job loss.
But one local company hopes what it has to offer can make the difference, soon.
It's called "Wisdom Forge" and it's been around about a year.
The professional development company includes marketing, information technology and *continuing education, a combination that's hard to find.
"The rules have changed, even from 6 months ago. So part of what we have to figure out and part of what the professional development center is about, is how are we coming together to figure out how does this work from now on?" asks Dave Scheer with Wisdom Forge.
Their clients range from large businesses to individuals.
Those out of work can get help with their job-seeking skills through wisdom forge for less than 100 bucks.
And not just with written job experience.
"There's this thing now called Facebook and Twitter and all of these social networks and maybe a resume isn't a piece of paper anymore, maybe it's really a web presence and how do I project that web presence in order to help people find me?"
