Now that spring is well underway, it's time for kids to "leap" into nature.
It's the annual Leopold Leap on Saturday, May 9th... and it's FREE!!
The hosts are Physicians Plus Insurance and Aldo Leopold Nature Center.
From 10 a-m until noon, children 12 and under can leap like a frog, lunge like a lizard or jump like a jackrabbit at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center in Monona.
It's the second of four seasonal events to show families that there are plenty of fun and inexpensive ways to stay active all year round.
The YMCA and the Madison Childrens Museum, will also add to the fun.
