It shouldn't be a luxury to get in and out of your own home. One local father whose son passed away from cerebral palsy wants to make sure every family has what they need.
Joe Herr is Senior Project Manager with Tri-North Builders. His son, Logan, died at the age of four due to complications from pneumonia.
So Joe created "Logan's Heart & Smiles" donating wheelchairs and other equipment and then donating his time and talents to adapting the homes of children with disabilities.
And the non-profit needs the community's help. Coming up on Saturday, May 16th is the 7th annual "Logan's Heart & Smiles" golf outing and dinner. If golf isn't your thing, they'd love to have guests just for the barbecue afterward.
