This weekend, you have a free opportunity to take the kids swimming and learn how to keep them safe in the water all summer.

Swim West is offering free family swim all week long with a request of two food items to be donated to Middleton's Outreach Ministry pantry.

Then Saturday the 16th is the annual Water Safety Day at Swim West on Deming Way.

They'll have water safety stations set up inside and outside and the children can win prizes at each one.

Family Swim will take place at about three o'clock and they'll be collecting non-perishable food throughout the day as well.
