It's that time of year again where bicycles in Madison are everywhere.
But not every child has the same chance to ride because they need help learning how.
That's where your skills can make a difference.
The Madison Area Down Syndrome Society is hosting it's annual "lose the training wheels" bike camp. And they need volunteers!
At the camp, volunteers teach about 30 kids with various special needs to ride on two wheels. The organization offers several 75-minute sessions throughout the day during the week of camp.
"Lose the training Wheels" is coming up June 15th through the 19th, Monday through Friday. It will take place at Oregon high school with two morning and two afternoon sessions per day. If you'd like to learn more or pledge your time, you can contact the down syndrome society .
