For $10, you can kick off your summer with some new, healthy cooking ideas thanks to U-W Health.
They have a dietitian teaching a class called Basic Cooking Tips for those of us who need a do-over on how to make food taste good and be healthy for the entire family.
The class is this coming Saturday, June 27Th from 10 to 11:30 a-m. It's located at the U-W Health Clinic on Odana Road and taught by a registered dietitian. Again, the price of the class is only ten dollars and you can register ahead of time by calling 287-2770.
The class will focus on cooking beans, whole grains, veggies and fish, sampling many recipes including, Almond Crusted Salmon, White Bean and Herb Dip and Black Bean Salad.
