It's not every day you see nearly 150 old tractors and trucks driving around the Capitol square and on Library Mall. But it is happening this week and it's a great way to entertain your family.
And it's more than just a parade. These photos from the Red Power Roundup event are just some of the more than 1,000 tractors and hundreds of pieces of old farm machinery you can check out dating from as far back as the 1800's.
It's the 20Th Annual worldwide gathering of the Harvester Collectors Club at the Alliant Energy Center, Thursday and Friday, that draws more than 25-thousand people from all over the country, even Canada and Europe!
The event leaves the Alliant Energy Center for a parade Friday morning around the Capitol and Library Mall. All the proceeds go to the Wisconsin Historical Society.
Again the event is this Thursday and Friday, July 23rd and 24Th. The parade is Friday at 10:30am and the vehicles will be on display at the Historical Society from 11:30 to one o'clock that day.
